About ipl-table.com — Who Runs the Site and How We Work Here

IPL Table is an independent cricket data project: the IPL points table and the numbers behind it — wins, net run rate, playoffs and history — in one place, checked against source records.

WHY THIS EXISTS

A table should explain itself

A points table answers a simple question: where does my team stand? It also creates harder ones. Why is one team higher when both have the same points? Does a no result change net run rate? Does winning the final change the league standings? IPL Table brings those questions together with the numbers, rather than leaving the rules somewhere else.

The project covers final season tables, the league-to-playoff route, individual awards and historical comparisons. Interactive tools are there to explain a calculation or explore a scenario. They are not forecasts, recommendations about match outcomes or guarantees about a future match. A completed-season table is labelled as such, so it cannot be confused with a live match feed.

Independent means unofficial

ipl-table.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the BCCI, the Indian Premier League or any franchise. Competition and team names identify the subjects of the data. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. The editorial label “IPL Table Editorial Team” identifies this site's publishing function; it does not claim an official league role.

The Go button opens an external affiliate partner, for adults aged 18 and over. We may receive a commission from that link. Our standings, explanations and tools are independent editorial content; team names and award illustrations do not imply endorsement by a partner.

HOW WE MAKE DECISIONS

Records first, explanations second

Identify the source

The cricket comes first.

Official IPL table snapshots support seasons 2012–2026. Earlier season tables use identified secondary records. A page should tell you which kind of evidence it uses, when the snapshot was collected and where an uncertainty remains. An illustration is a visual aid, never a substitute for that record.

Keep facts separate from interpretation

Points, wins and net run rate are data fields. Explaining why one team ranks above another is an interpretation of the competition rules. A future schedule that has not been announced is neither. We distinguish those categories so a plausible assumption cannot become an apparently confirmed fixture or result.

Make corrections traceable

A useful correction identifies the affected page, the wrong field, a proposed value and the evidence supporting it. The intended process is to compare that report with the source, amend a confirmed error and date the change. A report alone does not establish that a figure is wrong. The report preparation page helps assemble those details; this preview does not yet have a verified receiving mailbox.

What this version can and cannot promise

The source collection for this build was made on 5 October 2026. These are dated snapshots. A scheduled production refresh and an editorial mailbox have not been verified as running, so this version does not promise live scores, a thirty-minute update cycle or a reply within a particular time. The methodology describes the current boundary more fully.

You can read the pages without an account. The calculator works in your browser, and optional saved preferences are controlled through privacy choices. We aim to make the evidence and limitations as easy to find as the headline numbers. When a source cannot establish something, the page should say so instead of filling the gap.
